Open Innovation and business competitiveness, valuing Knowledge through Open Innovation, the role of Public Policy for Open Innovation and the diffusion of Innovation were the main topics discussed at the “Open Innovation in Portugal” conference , organised by the ANI.
The opening of the first event on the subject in Portugal was carried out by the Secretary of State for Economic Affairs, João Correia Neves, who emphasised the importance of collaborative R&D, particularly in large-scale processes capable of mobilising activity sectors and value chairs.
The initiative featured a panel of specialists from companies, Higher Education institutions, Interface Centres, Clusters, Collaborative Laboratories, among others.\n
This initiative had about 200 participants who met to discuss the role of Open Innovation as a way to accelerate the competitiveness of the companies and the international promotion of Research and Development (R&D) and innovation activities.
