The Universities of the Future (UoF) European project, of which ANI is a partner entity, is organizing a closing conference, which will be held through the zoom platform. "The Future of Academia Transformation in the Context of Industry 4.0", which is scheduled for June 17th, 10h, will focus on 4.0 industry and the synergies between the academic and corporate world.

This international conference seeks to introduce the main results of the project to its stakeholders. More than 100 professionals from all across Europe were invited to this closing event, under which there is an aim to amply expose the concept and projects of the UoF project.

The initiative will take on the future of the 4.0 industry and the transition to the 5.0 industry, as well as the role of academia, industry and governmental institutions in the open innovation and co-creation projects. There will also be a discussion on the perspectives and expectations of the students, based on their experiences with the project's educational goods, and their perspectives on the academic digital transition.

ANI will be represented in two pannels, by its Chairman Professor Joana Mendonça, and by João Ribau Leite.

Registration is open to all students, industrial sector professionals, the higher education community, education experts, 4.0 industry as well as to any interested parties. Registering is free and will be open until June 15th.
