7-9 December, in digital format

Portugal will be the guest of honour at the India-Portugal Technology Summit, which will take place from 7 to 9 December, in digital format. The event, organised by the Government of the Republic of India through the Department of Science & Technology and the Confederation of Indian Industry, is coordinated in Portugal by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) in collaboration with ANI, Portugal Space and the AIR Centre.

The Summit aims to stimulate the creation of bilateral partnerships in science and technology, as well as to strengthen networking between existing collaborations in the most varied areas of knowledge such as Watertech, Agritech, Healthtech, Energy, Climate change, Cleantech, IT, ICT & Advanced technologies and Space-Ocean Interactions.

The initiative will involve the Science Ministers of Portugal and India as well as representatives of academy and industry sectors from both countries. On the first day of the event, the President of ANI, Professor Eduardo Maldonado, will present a keynote session on the main challenges and collaborative solutions between Portugal and India.

The 3-day programme includes plenary sessions with recognised entities, thematic sessions and Tech Talks/Business Presentations, in which participants can not only attend, but actively participate. The audience will also have the opportunity to schedule B2B meetings. Also, in this Summit, a virtual exhibition of exhibitors will be inaugurated where institutions from both countries will present their areas of expertise. The organization made a booklet available with all the information about this initiative.
