September 19th to 23rd

ANI is organising another Tech@Week, a week dedicated to science and technology with activities in various parts of the country, this time under the topic: Start Engines for Innovative Materials and Energy.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the latest news and trends in technology transfer in energy and materials through debates, technology demonstrations, open days and networking moments..

The second Tech@Week is scheduled to include a demonstration on September 21st at the Business Centre in Sines' Industrial and Logistics Zone. This session, with speakers from academia and the business world, will explore the main trends and challenges in the area and will also include the demonstration of more than a dozen innovative projects.

Similarly to the first Tech@Week, several institutions operating in this area will open their doors to the public to present their mission, objectives, projects and the results of their technological activities. They are: the Technology Transfer Office of the University of Évora (September 20th),Itecons (September 19th), NET4CO2 (September 19th), Ecosteel (September 23rd) and Inovafil (September 22nd).

The novelty in this second edition of Tech@Weeks is Edu@Tech, an initiative that aims to promote scientific literacy among schools and students, as well as bringing young people closer to science and technology. It is scheduled for the morning of September 23rd at the Viana do Castelo Schools Cluster.
