The EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) launched the first research and innovation (R&I) calls for proposals. Applications are organised into two subject areas and five categories with different deadlines.
Applications for the first subject area - "Towards Extreme Scale Technologies and Applications” close on 14 January 2020, encompassing the following three categories: “Extreme scale computing and data driven technologies”; “HPC and data centric environments and application platforms”; and “Industrial software codes for extreme scale computing environments and applications”.
Applications for the second group - 'Innovating and Widening the HPC use and skills base' - close on 14 November 2019 and include two categories: “HPC Competence Centres" and "Stimulating the innovation potential of SMEs".
The EuroHPC JU allows the participation of any organisation that contributes to the objectives of the programme. 95 million euros are allocated to this call for proposals. The detailed funding and participation conditions can be found on the official website.
