ANI, partnering up with the team behind the European Innovation Council (EIC) in the European Commission, is promoting an introductive session specially dedicated to Portugal, in which the EIC's goals will be introduced to the national community.
For Portugal, EIC represents an opportunity for retaining deep tech business with national origins, attracting talent and qualified human resources and increasing the exposure of teach-based SMEs, as well as of the entire national ecosystem, in competitive international systems.
This new Horizon Europe initiative aims to turn Europe into the global leader when it comes to supporting disruptive deep tech projects that benefit both society and the economy and have the potential to create new markets. Its flagship instrument is Accelerator, created to scale up the most disruptive corporate projects to an international reach, with tech development and validation grants of up to 2,5M, in order to scale the business up to 15M€.
The EIC's European launch took place on March 18th, but it is through this Portuguese launch event, on March 23rd, that this initiative will be introduced to the Portuguese community.
