Booklet available for consultation

The Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education (MCTES) has published a booklet with the main statements launched and approved in the areas of research, innovation and higher education during the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union (PPEU21).

The document 'Utopia and Knowledge: contributions for the debate on the future of Europe' is edited and introduced by the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor, with a foreword by Commissioner Mariya Gabriel. The publication is divided into four sections that include, respectively, the conclusions adopted by the Council in the area of research, the conclusions in the area of education, the manifestos and statements adopted and launched and the main events discussed in the areas of research, innovation and higher education during the PPEU21.

The aim of the document is to promote the strategic role of research, innovation and higher education in the Green and Digital Transitions and in creating a more resilient, digital, socially aware and global Europe.
