Glartek will receive economic growth support services

The Portuguese company Glartek is one of the 20 companies selected in the EIT Community Booster - Scaling New European Bauhaus Ventures competition, which received more than 1,000 applications from 37 different countries. Glartek will receive economic growth support services worth EUR 50,000.

This competition, launched by the European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIT), aimed to support innovative businesses that integrate the values of the New European Bauhaus and was aimed at start-up or expanding companies focused on developing solutions for a more sustainable and innovative Europe. Through an acceleration programme, it aimed to support companies capable of changing and improving the quality of life of citizens in the areas of industry, climate, cities, food, and well-being.

Glartek, which will be supported under the EIT dedicated to Manufacturing, was selected for its platform Augmented & Connected Worker Platform. Using augmented reality, this platform offers a fully configurable back-office without the need to use code that allows the digitalisation of operational procedures performed by front-line workers. This solution increases front-line workers' knowledge and skills and improves the operational quality of companies by reducing downtime while increasing the safety of all workers.
