Under the new Horizon Europe programme, the next EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (R&I) for 2021-2027, the European Commission has launched a series of activities aimed at defining the strategic planning of the programme, discussing aspects of the programme's implementation with a focus on rules, processes, systems, documents and guidelines, and reflecting on institutionalised partnerships.

Open public consultations:

- Public consultation on Horizon Europe’s strategic planning. Participate until 8 September. There will be a debate on the subject at European Research and Innovation Days, which will take place between 24 and 26 September in Brussels.

- Public consultation on the implementation of Horizon Europe. Participate until 15 September.

- Inception Impact Assessments public consultation of Horizon Europe's Institutionalized Partnerships, until August 27:

Horizon Europe is the continuation of the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme and is the EU's main EU initiative to support R&I from initial design to commercialisation. It supplements national and regional funding.
