COMMUNITY FUNDING

ANI TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE UNDER THE SCOPE OF THE NSRF

As part of the management of Structural Innovation Support Funds, Operational Programme may delegate management functions and investment type monitoring to Intermediary Organisations, specifically support, monitoring, management, follow-up and assessment, certification, auditing and control competences.

Since its creation, and over the last 20 years of activities in the area of TR&D, ADI has acquired and consolidated an invaluable wealth of experience and knowledge in the management of technical and scientific monitoring and optimising the results of support measures for corporate R&D and technological infrastructure. Its actions specifically include the construction and promotion of a network of partners, from the applications assessment phase to the closure of projects. This gives it privileged access to scientific assessors and a whole range of different players - NSTS companies and entities - and allows its to boost TR&D by linking different support instruments, depending on the maturity of R&D results.

From 2015 onwards, due to the delegation of Operational Programme competences, under the scope of the NSRS and the new Portugal 2020 European Community framework, ANI will provide technical-scientific assistance and management services of a wide range of Corporate R&D funding and tax incentive products, and will also provide support to Technological Infrastructure.

Incentives are assigned by the following specific Management Authorities:

  • Compete - Competitiveness Factors Operational Programme
  • Alentejo Operational Programme
  • Algarve Operational Programme
  • Central Operational Programme
  • Lisbon Operational Programme
  • Northern Operational Programme
  • ERDF Technical Assistance Operational Programme

The payment of expenses incurred by ANI for providing technical-scientific assistance services and funding products and incentive management has the designation of Technical Assistance.

Information relating to European Community funding received in previous years must be consulted on the website of the previous Innovation Agency.
