The InovPNT project had the goal of boosting the use of functional and modified thermoplastic materials in the development of textile substracts with antimicrobial and antibacterial properties, through polymeric material processing techniques, allied with non-tissue textile processing techniques. To that effect, an innovative solution directed towards personal protective equipment was developed, with an immediate response capacity for the current pandemic, as well as for future public health crises.
