We are dedicated to promoting a thorough understanding of the intricacies of academic knowledge transfer and co-creation. To supplement the efforts to valorize knowledge, we consistently produce policy briefs and publications on the topic. Moreover, we have developed a comprehensive manual that guides the technology transfer process, which encompasses the identification, evaluation, and protection of technologies, the management of intellectual property rights, business development, and the negotiation of commercial agreements.
The manual is intended to assist Technology Transfer Offices (TTO) and other innovation intermediaries in their endeavors to transfer knowledge from academic institutions to industry and society. It provides a detailed and practical overview of the various stages involved in the technology transfer process and the actors engaged in the process.
In addition, ANI conducts annual data collection and analysis on the technology transfer activities of national TTO. The data collected is used to identify best practices, areas for improvement and to inform the development of policy recommendations. This information is disseminated in the form of policy briefs and scholarly publications, aimed at providing insights for TTO, policy makers, and other stakeholders in the technology transfer ecosystem.
We believe that by providing access to this information and by conducting annual data collection and analysis, we can support TTOs and other innovation intermediaries in their efforts to enhance the commercialization of academic research and drive innovation.
