In order to enhance Technology Transfer activities, ANI intended to promote the dynamics and network articulation of the entities involved in these processes. Based on the experience and work developed by academic TTOs, the aim is to launch training and qualification actions for these entities.
In this sense, ANI organized the session "Program Interface: Reinforcing Technology Transfer Activities", which took place on October 2, 2018 at the University of Aveiro.
In recent years, the following initiatives have been highlighted that have reinforced technology transfer activities:
Support for the creation, strategic restructuring or reinforcement of Technological Infrastructures, launched in 2018 by the Regional Operational Programs.
Support for technology transfer activities by Interface Centers and Collaborative Laboratories, through basic funding mechanisms and support for hiring qualified human resources, respectively, launched between 2018-2020.
Support for Hiring Highly Qualified Human Resources for technology transfer activities by technological infrastructures. These supports were granted by Portugal 2020 through the Regional Operational Programs (Call "Hiring Highly Qualified Human Resources" - Interface Institutions / Technological Infrastructures).
In 2021, ANI mapped the network of entities and their competencies of the knowledge transfer and valorisation structures linked to Higher Education Institutions, this information being available in the brochure on the Knowledge Transfer and Valorisation Network.
