ANI is the entity responsible for creating the Innovation Portal. This platform gathers all relevant information for the National Innovation System (NIS) in one place, aggregating content that used to be scattered across various digital platforms, entities and programmes.

The Innovation Portal allows you to find information about the actors of the national innovation community, search for specific competences of researchers, discover entities that work with specific technologies, identify business partners, and more. NIS entities will be able to manage, choose and update the services, projects and technologies they wish to disseminate.

This tool is completely self-sufficient and essential to promote collaborative innovation in Portugal, a country that is currently among the 12 most innovative countries in the EU27, according to the European Innovation Scoreboard 2020.

The Innovation Portal is promoted under the SIAC - Knowledge Transfer Initiative, co-financed by COMPETE 2020, through Portugal 2020 and the European Regional Development Fund.
