ANI participated, under the SmartFI project, in the development of a Design Options Paper (DOP) which will serve as a guide to organizations that design and implement financial instruments for SMEs.

This guide is the result of the 18 months of implementation of the SmartFI project, under which 2 workshops were organised, 9 case studies were assessed and financial instrument improvement processes were tested in 3 regions. The guide was developed by ANI in collaboration with the Greek Innovation Agency KEPA and the Polish Innovation Agency ARSSA, partners in the project.

The SmartFI project aims to improve efficiency and minimize the risk of financial instruments for innovation for SMEs through the exchange of good practices for design thinking integration in the processes and management of financial instruments, in order to make them more user friendly.
