November 25th, 8h30, hybrid format
The European Commission, in collaboration with the European Committee of the Regions, is organizing the Conference on European Missions. The event, on which the implementation phase of the EU Missions will be launched, will take place on November 25th, at 8h30, in a hybrid format.
The conference aims to debate the 'Adaptation to Climate Change' and 'Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities' missions in greater detail. Within the scope of the Mission dedicated to Cities, a new tender for the manifestation of interest for 100 intelligent and carbon-neutral European cities will be introduced.
The European Missions seek to present concrete solutions to some of Europe's greatest challenges. Launched by the European Commission in September, the Missions have ambitious goals oriented towards obtaining concrete results until 2030. They seek to mobilize and involve citizens, public and private stakeholders, such as EU Member-States, regional and local authorities, research instituted, farmers and land managers, entrepreneurs and investors, towards creating a real and lasting impact.
ANI, within the scope of the PERIN network, accompanies four of the five European Missions in Portugal, including those dedicated to Climate Change and Cities.
