The European Innovation Council (EIC) and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) published a call for expressions of interest to recruit up to six Programme Managers to join the EIC.

EIC Programme Managers are required to provide inspiration, guidance, vision and leadership in the development of future technologies. One of the objectives is to drive initiatives and projects, involving the best teams of researchers and innovators from across Europe, to deliver radical and disruptive innovations that will make a difference for the future.

Currently, four EIC Programme Managers are already proactively managing a portfolio of high-risk and high-impact projects in biotechnology and healthcare, medical technology and medical devices, materials for energy and environment and energy systems. Now, the EIC intends to expand its activities to other technological areas.
